ABOUT PRETEXT CONSULTING
Strengthening your defences through awareness
At Pretext Consulting, we help organisations strengthen their human defences against fraud.
Cyber criminals rarely rely on complex technical exploits alone. Instead, they target people, using carefully crafted tactics to manipulate, deceive, and ultimately gain access to sensitive information or funds. These tactics are expertly honed through online tools and a deep understanding of human psychology. Fraudsters use all this to build an entirely believable scenario to draw you in and effectively target even the most cautious of individuals – that's pretexting.
We believe that people are not the weakest link, but rather your most powerful line of defence when equipped with the right knowledge.
Our training is designed to be practical, engaging, and focused on real-world scenarios. By showing genuine examples of how fraudsters operate, we help businesses understand how they're targeted, why these attacks succeed, and what they can do to stop them. It's all about enabling organisations to reduce their risk and giving their people the confidence to respond effectively when threats arise.
Based in Bristol, we work with businesses across the UK to deliver tailored training solutions that reflect the specific risks they face. Our goal is simple: to turn awareness into action and make people your strongest defence against fraud.
